PRIVACY
Pour Guys Inc. runs four bars in San Francisco: Tempest, Louie's, Connecticut Yankee and The Showdown. This page says what this website collects about you, what we do with it, and who else handles it.
Looking around
You can read this site without telling us who you are.
- We run no analytics, no advertising trackers and no tracking pixels.
- The site sets no cookies for visitors. The only cookies are for Pour Guys staff who sign in to manage the site.
- Your browser keeps two small notes on your own device: whether you paused the moving logo, and whether you closed an announcement bar. Neither is sent to us.
- When you scan one of our QR codes, we count the scan. We keep a daily count for each code and nothing about you.
- As with any website, the companies that deliver this one receive your IP address and browser details when a page loads. They are listed under "Who handles your information."
- We don't track you across other sites, so the site behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
When you ask about a party
The party request form asks for your name, phone, email, the bars you're interested in, your party size, date, time and occasion. You can also add your company, how long you'd like, how you heard about us, and a description.
- We use it to answer you and to plan your event.
- Your request is saved in our booking system and emailed to the Pour Guys staff who handle events at the bars you picked.
- We may send you an automatic email saying we got it.
- We keep a contact record (name, email, phone, company) so we recognize you if you book with us again.
- Emails you trade with us about your event, and their attachments, are kept with your request.
- To stop spam, we turn your IP address into a scrambled code and count requests against it. This form does not store the address itself.
Emails about events and offers
The form has a box for emails about events and offers at our bars. It is empty unless you tick it. If you tick it, we record that you agreed, when, and the wording you saw. To come off the list, email hello@pourguys.com.
If you book with us
When a party is going ahead, we may email you a private booking link.
- Menu choices you make there are saved with your event.
- If you sign your contract online, we record the name you typed, the date and time, the email address the link was sent to, your IP address and your browser. That record is printed on the signed copy we email you.
- If you put a card on file, your card details go straight to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. We keep the card brand, the last four digits, and a record of your consent with your IP address and browser.
Who handles your information
We don't sell your information and we don't share it for advertising. These companies handle it for us:
- Vercel hosts the site.
- Supabase holds our database and files, including the photos and video on the bar pages.
- Resend sends and receives our event email.
- Stripe handles cards.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on the bar pages.
We may disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep party requests, contact records and event emails as business records, and we don't delete them on a schedule. We keep signed contracts and payment records.
Your choices
Email hello@pourguys.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. We'll delete what we can. Signed contracts and payment records stay on file.
Children
This site is for adults planning a visit or an event. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Pour Guys Listings
Pour Guys Listings is a private tool we use to manage our own Google Business Profiles for the four bars. It is not offered to the public, and nobody outside Pour Guys can sign in to it.
- It signs in to Google only as Pour Guys' own account.
- It asks Google for one permission: managing our Business Profiles (business.manage).
- It reads and updates our own Business Profiles: listing details, posts and our replies to reviews. It also reads the reviews people have posted on our listings and our performance numbers.
- The Google sign-in is stored in the keychain of one Pour Guys computer. It is not on a server, and this website never holds it.
- We use this data to run our listings. The software we use for that includes AI assistants. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.
