ACCESSIBILITY

We want everyone to be able to use this site: to find our hours, read the menus and book a party. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we do

• Each bar's colors are checked against the AA contrast ratio before its page can go live.
• Every photo that shows you something carries a text description. Background images that are only decoration are hidden from screen readers.
• Menus are real text, not pictures of menus.
• Every public page with a menu bar has a skip link to jump past it, and a visible outline shows where you are when you use a keyboard.
• Animation and background video stop when your device asks for reduced motion, and the moving logo has a pause button.

Where we fall short

• The background video at the top of each bar's page has no pause button yet. Turning on reduced motion on your device hides it.
• Some small gray text, like form hints, is lighter than the AA contrast ratio. We're fixing it.

Something not working?

If anything on this site gets in your way, email events@pourguys.com and tell us the page and what happened. We'll reply within two business days, and we'll help you with what you came for, like hours, a menu or a booking, another way in the meantime. You can also ask the staff at any of our bars.
